Tempo Doeloe opened 30 years ago as an Indonesian specialty restaurant. Back then, Tempo Doeloe was situated at the Keizersgracht in Amsterdam. It started as a simple ‘toko’ with one or two bottles of wine in stock and a handful of guests who were mostly the local residents and frequented the place every evening.
